Do you know what your Christian calling is yet? If not, we may be able to help.
You see, sometimes, a person receives a clear call from God, right out of the blue, while they’re minding their own business. But, for most of us, it happens because we’re praying about it and looking for it.
To that point, we want to share with you today some amazing Christian career options for you to consider. Now, this is far from a complete list of faith-based careers. But it will at least get you started in your search for a calling.

Plus, we hope and pray that this post inspires you to discover your calling in Christ, even if none of these careers are right for you. Read on to learn more.
1. Start a Christian Business
If you have a particular set of trade skills developed, you can open your own Christian business. This is a great way for Christians to share God’s love through any industry. Also, you can learn the trade skills you need through a trade school in your area.
Alternatively, if you have no trade skills but are good at selling, open up a store that sells Christian products. Book stores and gift shops are good examples. Or, you can sell religious supplies, like advent candles and anointing oil.
You should consider getting an education in business before opening a store, though. Do this at a local campus or through online institutions like these Christian colleges.
2. Christian Entertainment
Are you are gifted at/passionate about performing arts skills? Perhaps this is your calling. You may also feel called toward other creative talent fields, like filmmaking. You can be a Christian singer, dancer, comedian, and/or YouTube sensation.
Plus, the Christian branch of the entertainment industry is significantly less competitive than secular entertainment. We don’t mean that it’s “easy” to make it big.
But there is a lot of demand for such talent, both on a big scale and at local churches. Local church gigs will likely start as volunteer work but may lead to a staff position.
3. Christian Radio
Do you enjoy public speaking and have a fun personality? You could be a radio personality for a Christian radio network.
4. Licensed Therapist
A job in the mental health field is arguably the best possible opportunity to share the healing power of God’s love with those who need it the most. If you become a licensed therapist, you can prayerfully guide troubled individuals through lives most difficult episodes. Also, you can work on your own or you can partner with a local church.
5. Ministry
Our last suggestion is to take the direct approach to the Lord’s Great Commission: ministry. Seek employment/volunteer work wherever your church needs you. This may include youth ministry, missionary work, and leading/assisting in worship.
(Note: you should only take this route if you’ve prayed on it and you feel that this is where God is calling you.)
Consider These Faith-Based Career Options
In closing, we remind you that God can use you in any field of work you choose. Still, take some time to prayerfully consider these career options today. Also, please share this guide with other Christian job seekers you know.
