Princess Rani Vanouska T. Modely is revolutionizing the world of football asking for Football Leaders to take action for the fans.
An ample opportunity has been waiting ahead for the football world as the President of UNESCO committed to working with Princess Rani Vanouska T. Modely as a Football intangible World Heritage of Humanity. Rani Vanouska Modely became goodwill representative of the French National Commission for UNESCO in 2015. Through this experience in this United Nations organization, she is the founder of Football World Heritage surrounded by international experts and worldwide figures. Her mission is leading a global campaign with many personalities using the power of football for good and seeing football accepted by UNESCO as part of the world’s intangible cultural heritage.
She is a true picture of women empowerment and a true leader as her efforts got a sweet fruit.
On 8 September 2021, Princess Rani Vanouska received an official letter from the President of UNESCO in which he congratulates the work of Rani Vanouska for football as UNESCO world heritage and appreciated her consistency with her goal. He also acknowledged the importance of the idea and the efforts behind it. As football is a global sport, and most countries play this game. It is also the most-watched and loved sport.
So, the president of UNESCO wrote three circulars to the members of 193 countries to convey their attention towards this cause and create a bridge between football and UNESCO to help Mankind. Which is the main goal of Princess Rani Vanouska’s journey of bringing people under the one flag of Football.
He wrote:
“I would like to draw your attention to the attached circular letter which I sent on 3 September 2021, to all the 193 Member States of UNESCO along with the relevant departments in my capacity as the President of the General Conference concerning the initiative, I took along your original ideas to endow Football with the status of Intangible Heritage of Humanity.”
Rani Vanouska Modely knows that more than four billion people are concerned and connected to it. In a man dominating the world, she is the only woman working for the connectivity of a game mostly played by men, owned by men. Football is connecting people all around the globe, irrespective of their color, creed, and nationality. The zeal and zest of people with football are unmatchable. Princess Rani Vanouska’s idea of bringing football as the intangible world heritage will open more gates of opportunities for players, football clubs, and, most importantly for football spectators. The letter addressed to the UNESCO members contains all the critical aspects affecting UNESCO and its culture to work for humanity. He mentioned his concerns and asked football World Heritage (FWH) led by Rani Vanouska Modely to develop a practical model and idea to overcome all the hurdles.
“I hope you will be able to formally leverage all this good work towards the realization of these lofty aims. We will need to work with an NGO because no delegation nor our relevant departments will be able to have enough time to work this very large ground and prepare the Resolution that will be sought to realize the idea.” wrote the UNESCO President.
The president of UNESCO does accept football’s power and the fact that football is not just a game; it’s a language. A language that can play a pivotal role to uplift the purpose of UNESCO. He also added that the actual work needs to be done by Rani Vanouska to discuss this matter with the FIFA countries, Football Clubs, and Football team owners.
Her mission is also to involve the general public around the world, by leading this campaign in front of the media to highlight the importance of football as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity and fulfill this dream “to change the World” through sports.
