Muscat, Oman – After 22 years in Dubai, Indian national Joby Jhon did not expect his life to change for the better after discovering O! Millionaire. One of his friends recommended that he join the weekly draw, and Joby said he had been participating 5-8 times a week since. Joby happily joins us in an interview after winning the 2nd Prize worth OMR 25,000.
“I guess I won O! Millionaire in my eighth or ninth attempt,” he shares with a smile. Joby split the prize with another lucky player, Sojan Sarker, on the sixteenth episode last September 1st, 2022.
It appears that Joby’s luck comes from his love for his family. When asked by our dear host Rachel how he chooses his numbers, Joby explained that these are important dates, like the day he wedded his wife and his three children’s birthdays.
“But my date went wrong. If not, it would have been seven [7] numbers.”

If it were not for a mistake on one date he put in, Joby would have been our first Grand Prize winner! Still, he maintains positivity and continues chatting with Rachel. Joby reveals that his winning Green Certificate was purchased only 38 minutes before the live draw. What a buzzer-beater!
“I can’t express [the feeling]. [I am] very happy,” Joby says.
Through his winnings, Joby can finally build his dream house and fund his three daughters’ education. And as he won his best life, he made it possible for the planet to breathe. Joby plans to continue participating even after this special event. What’s more, he is doing this with his friends! In our green initiative, the more people, the better!
